This commemorative monograph titled ‘Law, Morality and Justice – Essays in Honour of Ismail Mahomed ’ is a limited edition print and comprises of essays as a special tribute to a person of towering intellect and moral vision. The contributors look at Chief Justice Mahomed and his jurisprudence through the prism of human rights. This must be so because Mahomed was a visionary human rights lawyer long before the ethos of a Bill of Rights was introduced in our constitutional dispensation.
This volume could not have been produced had it not been for the wonderful cooperation of many jurists academics and lawyers.
Among the contributors are Judge Dennis Davis, Justice Yvonne Mokgoro, Professors Thuli Madonsela, Halton Cheadle Penelope Andrews and Nico Steytler.
